It is Iowa Telecommunications Association day at the Capitol.

Various telecommunication companies have set up booths in the rotunda.

 

Larry McAlpin and Ron Hinds of Grand River Mutual Telephone Corporation visited the Capitol today. Their company, and many like them, are expanding consumer choice and improving technology in our rural areas--and that's great for economic development. Larry and Ron will be advocating throughout the year for a fair playing field in regard to taxation and regulation in which their company can compete.
