Angelo Awards Student for Writing Women Back into History

 

DES MOINES – Tess Myer, a 9th grader at Mt. Ayr High School was congratulated by Senator Jeff Angelo (R-Creston) at the capitol today for writing women back into history.   Tess was accompanied by her teacher Fay Howie and proud Grandmother, Beth Whitson.

 

Tess submitted an essay in the Writing Women Back into History contest and placed in the top three in the state for her grade and category.
