Senator Houser met with Iowa League of Cities

 

DES MOINES – Senator Houser (R-Carson) met with a group of City Council Representatives at the Iowa Capitol today. 

 

Clarinda City Council Representatives Darrel Wichman, Gordon Kokenge, Gary Walter, and Gary McClarnon visited with Senator Houser on a variety of important topics such as eminent domain and taxes. 

 

The Iowa League of Cities brought groups from across the state to talk with their local Senators and Representatives about issues that are important to their cities.

 

In addition to meeting with their Legislators, members of the Iowa League of Cities were briefed from the league’s legislative team on the year’s priorities.  Members also attended a panel discussion from several legislators.
