Senator Johnson Meets with the Conservation District of Iowa

Des Moines – The Conservation District of Iowa visited the Capitol today to meet with legislators including Senator Johnson (R-Ocheydan).

The Conservation District of Iowa works to support watershed projects, resource conservation and development areas, and soil surveys. Today, members of the Conservation District were talking with their legislators about important issues this legislative session.

“I support the work of The Conservation District of Iowa. The work that they do helps to protect our soil and water – two of Iowa’s greatest natural resources” said Senator Johnson.
