Putney Meets with Gladbrook Tourism Group

 

DES MOINES – On Feb. 8, State Senator John Putney (R-Gladbrook) met with two representatives from the Gladbrook Iowa Tourism.

 

JoAnn Ruopp, Manager of the Gladbrook City Center and Esther Jindrich, Volunteer for Matchstick Marvels, visited the capitol city promoting tourism across Iowa.

 

“JoAnn and Esther as well as many others work hard to promote Gladbrook.  I look forward to seeing them and the other Exhibitors at the Fairgrounds,” said Senator Putney. 

 

The Travel Federation of Iowa hosted the 20th Annual Legislative Showcase at the Iowa State Fairgrounds 4-H building from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Feb. 8.  JoAnn and Esther represented Gladbrook at this Legislative Showcase and offered Legislators popcorn.  The theme for this year’s Legislative Showcase was “Let’s Talk Tourism.”
