Senator Wieck Meets Mayor’s Youth Commission

DES MOINES – Senator Wieck (R-Sioux City) met with a group of students from the Mayor’s Youth Commission Tuesday.

“I am always glad to meet with groups of students as they are important to Iowa, vibrant and full of energy. This group from Sioux City is working in the community by providing feedback for the needs of youth. They are Iowa’s future,” said Senator Wieck.

The Sioux City Mayor’s Youth Commission works to explore, communicate, and provide for the needs, problems, issues, and activities affecting the city’s youth. By doing so, the city hopes that the youth will make a positive impact on the community and feel valued.
